We are expecting the birth of our first grandchild in March of 2008.  Our daughter had some problems during her first trimester, and the Lord had given us this promise through a Spurgeon Devotional on August 2, 2007 to comfort us that God Himself will finish or bring to completion her pregnancy.

So your post, caught our attention. [and our internet was down, so we saw it on my husband's cellphone last night.]

We have been watching the seven part Creation series by Dr. Kent Hovind in the evenings.  In the Q & A session , Dr. Hovind goes into the Great Pyramid and it gospel symbolism.  He also commented on the Book of Revelation's dimensions of the New Jerusalem.

Rev. 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

He said the Great Pyramid has 144,000 stones. He also said it has no capstone, mentioning that perhaps it eludes to the "stone the builders rejected" (1 Pet. 2:7), and Daniel 2, the stone cut out of the mountain without hands  -- of course, referring to Jesus Christ.

He also says that three dimensions are given in Revelation --- length, breadth and heighth.

He believes, although many Christians have thought and said the New Jerusalem is a cube, that he believes it is a pyramid.

Very interesting, in light of your post, and picture from the Hubble Space telescope.
