It was realy fascinating to read your letter, interesting thougths and facts, thank Dennis. - You shall absolutly not apologize for the length of your letter, - because you have something good to tell and informe us of, - so your always velcome to take your time.
Yes our God is a fantastic Great and wonderful God, and He of course can do exactly what He want to do, - who is able to stop Him ?
But He is also a wonderful loving Creator and Father, who gave His only Son to set us free, that we with our own choice can go back to where we realy belong, to our Great Creator.
Jesus payed the price for us, with His sacrifice on Golgatha, in His blood we are set free, and will be changed to a new creation with our Lord and Love, Jesus Christ as the Family-head for ever, John 1. and Romans 8. - All Glory and Praise for ever to the Most High God !
But as you showed us Dennis, God is amazing, and the storm, rain, snow etc. all do His will, - Isaiah 55. - He use it as He want, and it tells about the Greatness of our Father and God, - But He Himself is that wonderful silent voice, who speak in our hearts if we listen and follow.

John God is speaking a lot through weather events - just a few days ago a sort hail storm in Sydney caused about $170 million damage.
CLIMATE CHANGE - THE TWO WEATHERMEN
The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Bali is nearing its conclusion and I thought it would be opportune to share a few thoughts on our changing weather. Since my teen years (in Tasmania) I have been fascinated with the weather and my brother works for the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, so the weather runs in the family veins. The Word of God is saturated with comments on weather phenomenon, and I can only breeze through just a few points in this letter. It is important and I would like to highlight the sovereignty of God in weather and its importance as a sign of the Lord’s imminent return. I do recognise the importance of our care for the environment - we should not simply say that God will fix it (although He could with one breath from His Mouth!). Quotes are from the Amplified.
Revelation 11:6 These two witnesses have power to shut up the sky so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying; they also have power to turn the waters into blood, and to smite and scourge the earth with all manner of plagues as often as they choose. Given the importance of this control over the weather, another name for them could be the two weathermen! Clearly this is reminiscent of Elijah’s ministry, except that the control is very much vested in these two men. The world is meeting to look at ways of ameliorating the impact of climate change - and God prophesies that God’s two weathermen will be able to direct the weather! While the two witnesses will be in Jerusalem, their ambit of control will extend across the earth (as the latter part of verse 6 makes clear). The key to this is in verse 2 which speaks of the outer court of the rebuilt temple being given over to the Gentiles (nations) - God will be speaking to the whole earth, and influencing the weather across the earth thorough these two ‘olive trees’.
Jeremiah 14:22 The prophets are full of climate change references and God is trying to speak to nations today (including Australia where we have had the worst drought on record) about His sovereignty. I know the same applies to many other parts of the United States and the world as a whole). But I would like to focus on this verse from Jeremiah: Are there any among the false gods of the nations who can cause rain? Are You alone not He? Therefore we will wait expectantly for You, for You have made all things (the heavens and the rain). A clear statement of His sovereignty over the weather, made open through the two ‘weathermen’. Our new Prime Minister (Kevin Rudd) commented at the Climate Change Conference that there is no Plan B! Well God has a plan for the ages and in the millennial kingdom the earth will be watered continually - even the Dead Sea will live!
Jesus the weather forecaster! Luke 12: 54-56 When you see a cloud rising in the west, at once you say It is going to rain! And so it does…...south wind is blowing …you know how to discern the looks of the earth and sky; but how is it that you do not know how to discern and interpret this present time. Wow, wouldn’t it be great to read this verse at the Climate Change Conference! They are meeting but do not understand that this climate change is a sign of the imminent return of Jesus Christ!.
Israel Luke 21:29 Look at the fig tree and all the trees. To explain this I need to go back to the days as a teenager (a long time ago!) - before satellite photos and radar. From the weather I learnt a vital lesson - the strongest cold fronts were often preceded by just a few cirrus ‘heralding’ clouds. We need to be alert to the signs, as some are side tracks. The world is full of signs of Jesus’ imminent Return! But in the natural there is a medium level cloud that signals that the change is almost here (in Hobart, Tasmania I once watched an Elijah ‘hand’ cloud become a hail storm in just a few hours).
And the skies are now darkening rapidly, and filling the natural, economic, religious and social landscape with storm clouds - the signs we are now seeing are those that signal His rapid return! And Israel is the cloud we need to watch closely! A week or so ago close to 70 millimetres (3 inches) of rain fell in one hour in a suburb of Wollongong, south of Sydney - the suburb’s name is Figtree!!
Apologies for the length of this letter - but it is at the forefront of the world’s attention - and the weathermen will soon be on the world’s scene! And weather events will play a vital role in the immediate future. I have previously written about the weather links in Barak (excerpts below) and the important Psalm 83 (verse 2 They lay craft schemes against Your people). Remember that rain also speaks of revival, should He tarry - and we are seeing a change of season in the natural in Australia. Maranatha!
BARAK AND THE STARS
Judges 5:4,5, 20, 21 (Amplified) ‘Lord when You went forth out of Seir…the earth trembled and the heavens dropped..water. The mountains quaked at the presence of the Lord.. From the heavens the stars fought, from THEIR COURSES they fought against Sisera. The torrent Kishon swept the foe away, the onrushing torrent.’
“I saw how God did it…God gave me a peep into His mind…He takes me behind the scenes and lets me catch a glimmer of understanding…For now I don’t go back 3000 years…for it was in outmost space that I see God working. Working for this one day…but it’s not earth, it’s not the solar system, it’s not this galaxy at all, that I see. It’s a star, a star that is exploding. God is exploding this star…but this one’s for Sisera and Barak. For Deborah is describing a thunderstorm. She is telling me that a great surging deluge flooded that little valley until it became a swirling water-covered morass. Clouds start with stars that have exploded and have spread their dust into the limitless expanse of space. God had planned this, God had drawn it all up in that original in-the-beginning blueprint.”
PSALM 83 Verse 11 highlights the role of the weather in God’s strategies - especially the incredible thunderstorm that bogged Sisera. The Psalmist goes on to pray for the weather to come to intervene and includes these interesting words (Amplified) that could refer to the United States: verse 15 “Afflict then with Your tempest and terrify them with Your tornado or hurricane.”
