" re highest form of worship"

Thanks for your input. What you say re the situation that Peter found himself is true.
However if you read the letter I posted again you will see that this pride issue is discussed.

It is true you can do things like this with pride still in your heart and you will get no where. That also goes for reading the bible and praise. So even though God knows what's on our minds he wants to hear us say it. Also when we humble ourselves before God he wants to see it, thus the position of humility, prostrate. I don't know of any of the fathers of faith who did not do this.

Quiet time. Time away from all the noise, junk, distraction and worries is what God desires. Us just focusing on him. This is where instruction is heard. This is were we will learn what to do. It is in the word but it takes a solemn time of reflection for it to sink in. This is the time God deals with the issues in our hearts that prevent him from working thru us. The stones in the road are removed here.

When we are in agreement with God then we can stand up and praise him. Peter was allready there. It seems to me praise that what we have seen go on for years that has lacked real fruit is becuase we forget to go thruogh the process of listening to God before that. So therefore many times it is just noise. We need to turn rah rah rah into real real real.
