"Brother Samson"
Thank you for all your letters. You have said
what you said as best you could and many of us appreciate it. Perhaps the
reason you have decided to stop is that there are issues that are emotionaly
driven that logic alone can not resolve. We have a conflict of teaching
in certain areas. Some of us are aware of the subtle changes of bible teaching
over the years. One thing for sure, if we do not read the bible ourselves
we can easily become emotionaly persuaded into believing scripture in the
way some talented preacher presents it. So you do your best and try not
to get upset like the scripture you quoted stated.
You are very special to us so don't be upset if you brought
up an issue that needed to be stated. We have discussed these issues many
times. Unfortunately some do not hear any of the scripture because it contradicts
what they have been taught, so they block it out. It is an emotional thing.
So in the past some of us have been not so nice, unlike you. So we have
to back off before we sin, which is unfortunate, becuase this is a very
important issue.
Its easy to love a brother like you.
