I had a very strange dream last night.  I dreamed Satan came to me and said he
would destroy Christmas.  He essentially challenged me to figure it out.
 
  The scenes were similar to the scenes I have seen in music box several times
in gift shops this season of the Nutcracker Suite.  I was finding them in my
email.  I would click on an email and a scene would appear and Satan would
smile and shake his head and wag his finger "No, not that one".  And
it was interactive.  I seemed to be part of the scene on my computer.  Finally
I opened a scene from The Golden Compass and there was the Devil smiling and
nodding.
 
  So, what did Satan look like?  He was jolly and plump, sort of a cross between
the guard at the gate to the Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz and Red Skelton.
He was most definitely not scarey, not dressed in red and not carrying a
pitchfork!
 
  I have posted several articles about this movie.  I don't think God is
threatened by it.  I do believe that young minds could be adversely influenced
by it.  I know I was disappointed to learn what it is about and what it
teaches.  I had thought it looked like another interesting movie to take the
grandchildren to.  Silly me!  I was thinking another movie like Narnia.  It is
not and seems to be very misleading, topsy-turvy in its content.
 
  Between the atheists and the Muslims, could things be any more confusing?
