I almost collapsed in Sam's on Tuesday evening.  I became very short of breath, experienced tremendous discomfort (PAIN) on my right  side and around under my arm to my upper back, and had to sit down while hubby, Joe checked out.  This is a total role reversal for us.  Usually he has to ride the motorized basket and is pooped out if he has to push one.
 
I went in to the doctor this morning and I have pleurisy and pneumonia (again - and yes, I had the shot this past summer).  My blood pressure was 180/70 (usually 120/67) and my O2 sats were 95.  I was running a low grade fever.  The doc gave me a Z-pack and I went on into work.  I didn't have a lot to do as we had our office Christmas party today and I was not really involved with patients.  I came home early.
 
Joe's office party was tonight and we were saying good-bye to his boss who is resigning and going on to something else.  I could not eat.  I felt feverish and then I began to hurt again in my right side and began having chills with the fever.  He brought me home.  I look like Ebenezer Scrooge except I am at my computer with a shawl/afghan wrapped around me and a cup of hot green tea in my hands - except for when I am typing.
 
Pray that the doctors and blood tests figure this out.  I am having chills and fever several times a month for no apparent reason followed by joint pain all over my body (hips, hands, arms, elbows, shouldlers, knees, etc.) and a lack of energy that lasts for several hours.  I have had pneumonia 3 times in the past 12 months.
 
Please pray for healing.  I have to work.  I cannot stop.  We need the income and we need the insurance as neither of us are of retirement age yet.
