I hear you, Sister Peggy! It didn't feel like Christmas to me either. It was rather depressing. Some of that was due to my daughter's boyfriend (Daryl) being here--he's the one I wrote about who was a Christian and has fallen into apostasy. It has put a strain on my relationship with my daughter, and her faith is being shaken too by Daryl's influence. Whenever I looked at them, all I could think of is, "Please turn back to the Lord before it's too late--don't go to hell!" A *bit* depressing! But, even besides that, it just didn't feel like Christmas. The whole season felt forced. I've heard other people say it too.I want to go home too! I think the Bride is getting very tired! The constant vexation of the things of this world can really get to you sometimes. The constant struggle against evil sometimes seems to be too much. The constant struggle just to make ends meet and deal with problems sometimes seems to be too much (I think a lot of us are in that leaky boat)! SURELY we can't have too much longer to go until we hear the "Come Up Hither!" I'm getting to the point now where when I see projections for a spring rapture, I don't even want to look at them. It's too far off and too discouraging to think of waiting, waiting, waiting again. I prefer to just keep an "any day" outlook now and forget about projections. I just don't have the spiritual fortitude to look that far ahead anymore. One day at a time is about all I can stand. How about you?
I hope I didn't bring you down further!! It truly is a comfort having all of you precious Doves to keep watch with. I am feeling more and more of a need to fellowship with other believers these days. We're only human, so we're bound to have our "down" days, but think of this--SOON we will see our Lord Jesus face to face! WOOOOO HOOOOOOO! What can be better than that?! The BEST is truly yet to come and, when it does, it will last FOREVER. That thought sure makes ME feel better, and I think the rest of you would agree! Maranatha Lord Jesus!
Hope to see all of you Doves SOON--in the air!
Love,
YSIC Dawn
