Kelly,
Yes, they do mean to insert the chip.In fact, many animals are already
chipped prior to purchase. Last year we purchased a Lhasa Apso puppy and he
came pre-chipped (but no dip). No choice. I did not mind so much as he is
in a register bank and here in Long Beach, Ca the animal control scans all
lost pets and if they have a chip, then they can contact you easily. What I did not know until recently, is that researchers are now discovering
a disproportionate amount of tumors in rats that are chipped. I do not know
if this research data will carry over to other animals or not. Rats are
easy specimens to develop tumors. So, for me, it is a wait and see as to
the health of our pup.Except for the health risk, I do not view this as any big deal. It is
certainly not the mark of the beast, although it could very well become the
vehicle for him, and chips do have some beneficial applications as well. My
Son is an Engineering Intern at a Military Contractor here in So Cal and
they imbed chips into the dog tags of soldiers so that it they are wounded
on the battle field the medic can quickly scan his tag and have all his
medical history immediately.Remember what Joseph said to his brothers, "What you meant for evil, God
meant for good"...
