Hidden in Plain Sight
What if the time of the Rapture of the Church has been given such a long
time ago that it has now become so oblivious to normal thinking ?
What I mean is this, for many years now the world has celebrated
Christmas on Dec.25th. Many Christians know that this was not the
actual date of Jesus’ birth but throughout the centuries it became commonly
accepted as the traditional time of the year to commemorate our Saviour’s First
coming to the earth.
My thought is this – The Bible says that we, the watching believers will
know the season that will herald his coming.
The signs given will be in the appointed season and will act as a
forerunner to the actual event.
We have seen countless signs in the heavens, on the earth and even under
the earth in this day that we are living in, all pointing to the coming of the
Bridegroom for his Bride.
We all know that the Gospel must be preached to every nation before the
end comes and it shall,.... but who on this Earth has not heard of Christmas and
by extension Jesus ?
According to a previous post by Ted Porter using Hanukkah as the Jewish
time table for this reference, it is only divine that our God in heaven who has
ordained the beginning from the end will cause all these events to occur on
the said day that he has appointed for Jesus’ return; which mind you was set
before the foundation of the world.
I believe that the Almighty Father has already in his wisdom made this
event so simple that even a child will understand and while we seek to know the
date of his appearance in so many ways, he reveals himself so graciously that we
shall all be astonished by his greatness.
Whether it is on the 11th Dec. or the 31st Dec 2007…. it will all make sense when we behold him face to
face and all our questions are answered.
