Hey Guys ~ listen, thanks for praying for people living in the Midwest!   Many, many people are still without power & what a mess!!   It's COLD, you know, to be without heat!!   I've lived in the area my whole life & I've never seen anything like this!  Although the ice storm itself was rather light, still it was enough to snap trees in two like twigs ~ thousands, possibly millions of trees are down or ripped apart!   A good chunk of the state literally looks like a war zone.  Very few people were left unaffected in some way by this.
 
Businesses that normally would always be open except for main holidays, have been closed all week (no power).  Schools -- same thing.  Traffic lights are out & of course, you take your life in your own hands in expecting people to drive with courtesy & "take turns"!
 
No surprises -- looting is on the rise -- as though people haven't been victimized enough.  With empty houses (some have to go to shelters to keep from freezing) and so the looters come in & steal.  The people who are trying to tough it out in their homes without heat are looking VERY ragged from the cold.  I expect many sicknesses over this.  Then, top things off -- another snow/ice storm expected this weekend.
