Finland ratified the EU constitution on Tuesday adding one more country to the list of member states having given the nod of approval to a document whose fate is still undetermined.The parliament approved the constitution by an overwhelming majority with 125 voting in favour and 39 against, with the Finnish president still to sign off the procedure, expected sometime next week.

My wife and I had a discussion recently wherein we talked of how utterly weird the world is becoming. Like so many others whose comments are posted above, we feel things are spiraling out of control, both morally and spiritually, and getting weirder by the second. Like so many other Christians, we want to stop the world, get our family off this sin-ridden rock, and go home to be with the Lord. Am I saying my wife and I hate our lives? No, but we know there is something better than this! Far, far better! We know this world, in its current state, isn't our home. For us, home is where Jesus Christ is. Home, our real home, is where we desire to be in the presence of our family and friends.
