"I think we need a timeline"

Since the beginning of November, things in the middle east do appear to be speeding up and moving rapidly.  All I can say is that I believe the letter from Jim Bramlett about time speeding up.  It is almost to the point that if you blink, you my miss something.  What we have seen since the US elections is this:

The Euromed Foreign Minister Conference convened with all parties agreeing to a framework for peace
Two "requests" by the EU to send troops to Israel to help make and keep the peace (Israel said NO both times)
Southern Israel was under a near constant missile barrage
Iraq is on the verge of being broken up into three states - Kurdish, Sunni, and Shia regions
Saudi Arabia stated they will support the Sunni's of Iraq should the US pull out
Iran, Iraq, and Syria met to discuss new ways of bringing stability to Iraq.
Iran was found to have unexplained highly enriched Uranium and Plutonium (both of which are mainly used to build Nuclear Weapons)
Iran stated that the first week of February they will be "fully nuclear capable"
The US stated they are not able to go to war with Iran, while still being fully engaged in Iraq and Afganistan (which also heated up this month!!!)
Russia killed an ex-Spy, turned critic
Russia sent sophisticated anti-aircraft arms to Iran
Lebanon looks to be on the verge of collapse as the pro-Syrian members of government quit and are threatening protests
Syria is being blamed for yet another assassination of an anti-Syrian Lebanese minister
Syria is also beginning to be courted as the "linchpin" to peace in Iraq, Lebanon, and even Israel

Now the way I see it:

The US has lost or is losing its role as the World Leader because of Iraq and the US Elections.
The EU has begun to assert itself as the New World Leader.
It appears as though "peace" may again try to break out in the Middle East
If the recent Israeli-Lebanese war is an indication, we need another war before Israel will accept EU troops
The US admitted it is in no position militarily to stop Iran from building Nukes (meaning Israel is left with no other option then to do it themselves)
There is an obvious collusion between Iran and Russia
