"Christians Must 'let go' Some Beliefs For Sake of Peace, Theologian Says (Jesus Not Son Of God)"Hi:In my opinion, for a "Theologian" to say, "Jesus Not Son Of God" is foolhardy. There are too many scriptures proving he is the Son of God to ever think otherwise.1 John 2:22-24 (KJV) says, "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning."Isa 7:14 says, "the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name IMMANUEL. "
Mt 1:18,23 says, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost....Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US."Jesus was truly "God with us." II Cor. 5:19 explains in plain words, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself."Jesus Christ is the Creator himself. John 1:1-3,14 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made....And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER), full of grace and truth."Heb 1:1-3 (LITV) says, "In many ways and in various ways of old, God spoke to the fathers IN THE PROPHETS; in these last days He spoke to us IN THE SON, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages; who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high".Isa. 9:6 (KJV) explains Jesus' dual nature. He is both man and God, the only one of his kind. It says, "For unto us a child is born (inheriting his human nature from his mother), unto us a son is GIVEN (inheriting his deity from his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and HIS NAME shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."Prov 30:4 asks, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name (YHWH, YAHWEH, YAH), and what is HIS SON'S NAME (YAHSHUA, Y'SHUA, YESHUA, IESOUS, JESUS, IMMANUEL, EMMANUEL, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE I AM), if thou canst tell?The Son of God is the one that has dealt with mankind from the beginning. He was the "Angel of the Lord" that called to Abraham out of Heaven. He was also the Angel of the Lord that appeared to Abraham on Earth.John 1:18 says, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him." The Son of God is the Angel of the LORD that has appeared to man.Gen 22:11,12 says, "And the ANGEL OF THE LORD CALLED UNTO HIM OUT OF HEAVEN, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest GOD, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from ME."Gen 18:1-3,33 says, "the LORD (YHWH) APPEARED unto him (Abraham) in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men (one was actually THE ANGEL OF THE LORD, the pre-incarnate Christ) stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant...And the LORD (YHWH) went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham".Ex 3:13,14 says, "Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is HIS NAME? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."In John 10:30, Jesus said, "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE."De 6:4 says, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD (YHWH) our God is one (echad, one united) LORD (YHWH)."Isa, 44:6 backs that up. It says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, AND his redeemer the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I am the first (YHWH King of Israel), AND I am the last (YHWH of hosts, the redeemer); and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD."Isa. 48:16-18 says, "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I (the preincarnate Christ): and now the Lord GOD (YHWH), and his Spirit (Holy Spirit), hath sent me (the Son of God, the preincarnate Christ). Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer (YHWH of Hosts, the Son of of God), the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD (YHWH) thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to my (the Preincarnate Christ's) commandments (i.e., at Mt. Sinai)! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea".In Rev 1:8, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."In Rev 22:13-16, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the end, the first AND the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root (YHWH) AND the offspring of David (Jesus)".I think all Christians "should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 1:3). We "Must (NOT) 'let go' Some Beliefs For Sake of Peace". I know that without a doubt, JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD.
