Jhn 10:17 |
|
Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it
again. |
| Isa 53:7 |
¶ |
He was oppressed, and
he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to
the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth
not his mouth. |
Isa 53:8 |
|
He was taken from prison
and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut
off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was
he stricken. |
Isa 53:12 |
|
Therefore will I divide him [a
portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with
the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for
the transgressors. |
Jhn 10:18 |
|
No man taketh
it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and
I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. |
Jhn 10:19
|
There was a division therefore again among
the Jews for these sayings. |
Jhn 10:20
|
And many of them said,
He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? |
| Jhn 7:20 |
|
The people answered
and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? |
Jhn 10:21 |
|
Others said, These are not the words of him
that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? |
| Exd 4:11 |
|
And the LORD said
unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or
the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD? |
Jhn 10:22 |
¶ |
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of
the dedication, and it was winter. |
Jhn 10:23
|
And Jesus walked in the
temple in Solomon's porch. |
Jhn 10:24
|
Then came the Jews round
about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou
be the Christ, tell us plainly. |
Jhn 10:25
|
Jesus answered them, I
told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name,
they bear witness of me. |
| Jhn 7:38 |
|
He that believeth
on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of
living water. |
Jhn 3:2 |
|
The same came to
Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher
come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except
God be with him. |
Jhn 5:36 |
|
But I have greater
witness than [that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me
to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father
hath sent me. |
Jhn 10:26 |
|
But ye believe
not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. |
| Jhn 8:47 |
|
He that is of God
heareth God's words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not of
God. |
Jhn 10:27 |
|
My sheep hear
my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: |
| Jhn 10:4 |
|
And when he putteth forth
his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they
know his voice. |
Jhn 10:14 |
|
I am the good shepherd,
and know my [sheep], and am known of mine. |
Jhn 10:28 |
|
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. |
Jhn 10:29
|
My Father, which gave [them]
me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my
Father's hand. |
Jhn 10:30
|
I and [my] Father are one. |
Jhn 10:31
¶ |
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. |
Jhn 10:32
|
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those
works do ye stone me? |
Jhn 10:33
|
The Jews answered him, saying,
For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou,
being a man, makest thyself God. |
| Jhn 5:18 |
|
Therefore the Jews
sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath,
but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. |
Jhn 10:34 |
|
Jesus answered
them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? |
| Psa 82:6 |
|
I have said, Ye [are]
gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High. |
Jhn 10:35 |
|
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and
the scripture cannot be broken; |
Jhn 10:36
|
Say ye of him, whom the
Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because
I said, I am the Son of God? |
| Jhn 6:27 |
|
Labour not for the meat which perisheth,
but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of
man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. |
Jhn 3:17 |
|
For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through
him might be saved. |
Jhn 10:37
|
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. |
Jhn 10:38
|
But if I do, though ye believe
not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father
[is] in me, and I in him. |
| Jhn 5:36 |
|
But I have greater
witness than [that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me
to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father
hath sent me. |
Jhn 10:39 |
|
Therefore they sought again to take him: but
he escaped out of their hand, |
Jhn 10:40
¶ |
And went away again beyond Jordan into
the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. |
| Jhn 1:28 |
|
These things were done in Bethabara beyond
Jordan, where John was baptizing. |
Jhn 10:41 |
|
And many resorted
unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake
of this man were true. |
| Jhn 3:30 |
|
He must increase,
but I [must] decrease. |
| Jhn 8:30 |
|
As he spake these words,
many believed on him. |
|
