"REVELATION QUESTION"

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

A couple of days ago, in order to better understand Revelation, (not only for me but for my 89 yr old aunt) I decided to cut and paste the scripture references listed with each verse together with the verse, thinking that it would flow much easier rather than going back and forth all over the Bible looking them up, which kind of hinders the understanding a bit due to the busy work involved.  Once I began, I was amazed to find, as in the post yesterday on Daniel 9, that in some verses or chapters it changed the meaning of established prophecy intrepretation.

I had also done this with John 10, and was trying to send it with the Daniel post, but it caused some unknown error, and froze up my computer, which is a first! I wanted to send both to see what you all thought about this.  Anyway, I was up that first night till 6am (!), working on Revelation, and got thru Chp 6.  It was if I was being shown all new things, and it was very exciting.  I began skipping around (like with John 10) wanting to see what was going to happen here and there.  I felt like new parts of Revelation were being unsealed. But, I couldn't imagine that thousands of people and pastors haven't done this, so why aren't most teachings conforming to what I saw?  Not that it's all that much different in most places, but for example the first rider on the white horse is supposed to be the antichrist, yet the scripture notations from the reference verses are about Christ...  Here is an example:

Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.   Zech 6:3, Rev 4:19, Psa 45:4, 5

Zec 6:3  And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.   Rev 19:11  ¶ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.   Psa 45:4  And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Psa 45:5  Thine arrows [are] sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; [whereby] the people fall under thee.

I've heard teaching that this is antichrist because he has a bow and no arrows, yet the arrows show up when using the references for the verse.

I'm concerned also about the warnings at the end of Revelation about adding to or taking away words bringing the curses on you. Does adding the scripture references to the verses qualify as "adding to" the book of Revelation?  I am prepared to delete all the work if anyone thought it would violate Revelation's warning. What do you think?  Could God be giving us a fresh look at Revelation in these last days, or is this simply the publisher pointing us to similiar verses, which means nothing and isn't a clear intrepretation?

I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this, as I'm up thru Chp 12 now. Also, if everyone thinks this doesn't violate Revelation's warning, and would like to read the text with the references like I did, (kind of like going thru Revelation with a fine tooth comb), I would be happy to share all the chapters.

Thanks for any insight,

Kay
