Re: Bonnie's "re Lunar Eclipse on Passover A.D. 33

Has a lunar eclipse ever caused darkness on the earth for three hours, as happened at the crucifixion (Luke 23:44), and is it even possible?  All I am aware of are very brief periods of darkness.

This makes me believe it was a supernaturally caused darkness and not an natural explanation.
