"It's Friday , but Sunday's
Coming"
It happened one dark, gloomy Friday 2,000 years
ago. The world's Savior was nailed to a wooden cross on a desolate hill
overlooking Jerusalem. The disciples and followers of Jesus were down and
depressed, they must have thought it was all over. And then came Sunday
morning. The sun's rays lighting up the bright blue sky. Tears turned to
joy as those who loved Jesus found out He was alive again. It was Sunday
morning and the world's Savior was back
Your probably wondering what this Easter story has to
do with the Christmas season we are now in. For some christians, it may
mean everything. There are those who are having a joyous Christmas this
year, and then there are those who are not. For many people this Christmas
season, it may still be Friday for them. Sunday morning hasn't come yet
Two days ago i was on the Daytona Beach boardwalk handing
out salvation tracts and ended up praying with two homeless guys to accept
Jesus as their Savior. For these two guys, its still a gloomy Friday in
their lives. They are jobless and homeless. I tried to encourage them that
a Sunday morning sunrise is coming to their lives someday
You may just be one of those christians who's life is
still stuck on a gloomy Friday this Christmas season. You may be dealing
with medical issues, unpaid bills, no job, broken relationships, not knowing
where your life is going. You may be away from your family this Christmas
or no Christmas presents for the kids this year. You may be watching for
Jesus to return and wondering just when will He be coming back
Whatever issues your dealing with this Christmas season,
remember that it won't always be a gloomy Friday in your life. We have
a rock-solid, heaven sent promise from the King of Kings - Jesus Christ
Himself : Sunday Morning is Coming !!!
have a blessed Christmas , Gary
