Advent... and: Airbus A380 certified air worthy

Dear John and Fivedoves,

I marvelled when I saw your letter

http://www.fivedoves.com/rapturette/RAPTURETTE2_0001.htm

December 9, 2006....

I like to thank you for your ministry... yes you are still keeping on ... and you don’t giving up...

Thank you so much...!

All Glory to our Lord!

Yes, There is Hope!

...well, your letter was just Saturday before Second Sunday in the Advent Season...:

“Advent (from the Latin Adventus, implicitly coupled with Redemptoris, "the coming of the Saviour") is a holy season of the Christian church, the period of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, also known as the season of Christmas. It is the beginning of the Western Christian year and commences on Advent Sunday. (The Eastern churches begin the year on 1 September.)

Adventus is the Latin word for "coming", and is the exact Latin equivalent for the Greek word parousia, commonly used in reference to the Second Coming. Thus the season of Advent serves a dual reminder of the original waiting that was done by the Hebrews for the birth of their Messiah as well as the waiting that Christians today endure as they await the second coming of Jesus the Christ....”

Now, the Advent wreath, has four candles (one candle for each week)....

just recently my old uncle and aunt did again explain the symbolic...as we in our family here in germany know it... (I learned it also from my grandparents when they explained it many years ago...):

The First Sunday (first candle) is referring to Jesus’ First Coming 2000 years ago...

and especially the Second Sunday (second candle) (which this year was just December 10, – by the way my 54th birthday... J)

is reminding to the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus...

...Now, as Sunday is the first day of the week...

Last Sunday = Sunday of “Second Advent” ... so we have this week... the week of the “Second Advent” ...(Dec 10 until Dec 16)

John, you have Dec 17, .... in your letter... http://www.fivedoves.com/rapturette/RAPTURETTE2_0001.htm .

Praise the Lord!

And we had quite a few “signs” in these days:

It was a great morning to see the planets...
