"Praise report"
I want to thank those of you who
have sent contributions in response to my request:
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2006/elleng126.htm
Most have been designated for the mother
and her kids and I am happy to say that the Lord has been very generous
and she has nearly everything on her wish list. She is a most appreciative
mother, so I send thanks on her behalf.
I wish I could say all of my
needs and wants have been fulfilled also, but I cannot truthfully say that
at this time. I am still far short of my goal just to pay the bills for
this month, which is a requirement before I even think about a trip. Besides
simply being with my husband after a year's separation, we are also looking
into the possibility of me joining him to live and work and minister there.
Mexico is a huge missions field, and there is also the opportunity for
business as well.
I would appreciate all the prayers
offered up on my family's behalf, and anyone who feels led to help
us out financially can contact me as the link to the original letter shows.
I can well understand the other Doves readers who have posted similar letters
recently about the financial struggles some of us are going through at
this time.
I was given this wonderful bit of
wisdom by a very special person that I think will bless all of you as it
has blessed me:
The Lord always delivers. We need
to be patient. Because He expects more from us, that is why we are faced
with greater tests than others.
