"To Jan Mikael"
Jan, I also have meant to write
you and encourage you as 1 Cor 10:31 did. Her letter reminded me that I
have not written you. You have been a real inspiration to me and others
ever since you have been contributing here at Five Doves. I love reading
letters from other believers around the world, and am greatly encouraged
with your words.
When I first read your post with the
article pointing out error and false teaching, I also copied it and saved
it to study further. Much of what was mentioned there is true, and is a
sad commentary on the state of affairs among the churches today, with the
emphasis on feelings and "signs" and a general tolerance of sin, with no
mention of repentance. These are the lukewarm churches that the Lord will
spew out of His mouth, and people need to be told the truth.
You do not need to apologize for a
thing. Those readers with discernment will recognize the truth, and those
lacking will continue to seek after fleshly things and ignore the warnings
that teachers such as Pastor Chambers give. I also agree with 1Cor 10:
31 statement that not everyone is 100% correct on every spiritual matter,
only the Lord is, and we are not God. Do not let anyone lay a guilt trip
on you, but be strong in the Lord and continue to be a vigilant watchman
on the wall. There are far too few watchmen, but far too many fools.
May the Lord richly bless you!
