"Baker Report on Iraq ... "Extremely Dangerous""

Closer look at Baker Report on Iraq. Extremely
Dangerous.
Neil Cooper
Dec 9, 2006

This is a long report. I hope it all comes through
without being truncated. I don't believe I have really
found expression for the deep sense of forboding I
have over recent developments. Not because I don't
trust God, but because I know that great suffering is
about to be unleased.  Forgive me if you feel I am too
heavy in this, but I live in a part of the world that
has seen the devastation up close for far too long,
and I work with people every day who have been
victimized by terrorism. I believe what is coming will
eclipse that which has been.
I would like to extrapolate on the consequences of the
policy shift, taking place in America right now.

This morning I was in near travail over what I believe
is going to come upon Israel and America in the near
future (that may mean the next few months or the next
few years, only God knows). The Lord is in anguish
today. Much of the Church can't accept such a thing,
thinking that everything is only joy all the time, and
anything that is not 'Positive Thinking' cannot be
Christian.

Let me say it again, the Lord is suffering tremendous
anguish over the darkness that is enveloping the
earth. His heart breaks over every sin, and every
sinner. If you take even a few moments to contemplate
the depth of evil that Satan unleashes through human
flesh upon this world every single minute of every
single day, it is overwhelming. Moreover, in every
single case, God is there in the midst of it.

Why doesn't He end it? Why doesn't He unleash His
anger as so many seem to be eagerly awaiting? Because
He is a God of life! He is a God of Creation not
destruction! He is a God of Mercy and Longsuffering,
patiently enduring the anguish until the final moment
when the last person who will ever come to Him for
salvation. does! And when His wrath is finally poured
out, He will not take pleasure in those who are
destroyed in the process. He is not poised in heaven
just waiting for the right moment to destroy His
sinful creation, His anger is directed at that which
destroys His creation and causes it to sin. When we
fail to accept His mercy, the only thing left for us
is His wrath. That wrath is for the purpose of
removing all that is evil, from the presence of all
that is good.

This earth is rapidly falling into gross darkness and
the church itself is going to be turned inside out,
and the wheat and the tares are going to be exposed
for who they truly are. Interestingly, wheat and tares
look so much alike even a farmer can't tell the
difference until the very end when the head on the
tare turns dark, and the wheat remains light. So it is
with the church. Today it is becoming clearer that
error, worldliness, compromise, and apostasy are
strangling the life out of Christianity, and the
people who love convenience more than the truth are
going to be more dangerous to true believers than even
the unbelievers are.

I read the testimony of a Christian man who survived
the years of communism in Romania, and he said the
ones who were the most brutal towards Christians, were
the ones he used to sit next to in church and who had
turned away from Christ to save their own lives. A
Jewish man told me essentially the same thing about
those fellow Jews in the concentration camps who
compromised and served the Nazi's to save their own
lives, that these fellow Jews became their worst
tormentors. When you reject eternal life with God
through Jesus Christ, then you have nothing left to
grab hold of except your earthly existence, and when
that is threatened, your instinct for survival takes
over and you truly do become nothing more than an
animal.
We had better prepare ourselves to love not our lives,
even unto death.

I say all of this because as I watched the nomination
hearings of Robert Gates (who has now been confirmed)
and he said that the strategy in Iraq is going to
require drawing down troops considerably, and that
attacking Iran is a last resort and that it is not the
job of America to defend Israel against Iran. Since he
has now been confirmed as the Secretary of Defense,
and has broad support of both Republicans and
Democrats, and since he said he would work
independently from the President, we can assume that
since he touched on some of the same ideas that were
contained in the Baker report, that he will implement
those ideas.

THe Gates confirmation was followed quickly by what I
would call the "James Baker Plan for the Creation of
an Iran Super state and Destruction of Israel and
America Report " which was sold as "The Iraq Study
Group report". This report is a typical Council on
Foreign Relations policy recommendation that will
become policy because everyone receiving the
'recommendation' is also a member of the Council on
Foreign Relations.

Inside this report were numerous plans that only the
devil himself could have hatched. It is strange that
everything having to do with U.S. involvement in Iraq
seems to resolve itself in the decimation of Israel.

Baker and his team of hand picked demoniacs speak of
America's inability to control this situation and that
America needs to pull its troops out and draw down to
a minimal force, there only to train the Iraqi forces.
A suggestion that Robert Gates had also mentioned in
his confirmation hearings. Hmmmm. do you think that he
has been talking to James Baker? The problem with this
plan is that  the moment that the U.S. leaves Iraq,
all hell will break loose and Iran will emerge as the
victor. This will leave Iran in a position of
controlling a vast new oil reserve and a land mass
that gives them direct access to the rest of the
Middle East. This should be particularly worrisome to
Saudi Arabia as Iran could turn their sights on them
as well, which would give them complete control of the
Persian Gulf and the majority of the worlds present
oil production.

The next 'recommendation' that Baker and Company make
is that the U.S. is to call on Iran and Syria to help
in bringing a solution to the situation in Iraq.

Please Lord tell me this is a joke!

Iran and Syria are the two countries supplying all of
the insurgents that are causing this problem in the
first place. America should not capitulate to them,
but rather declare war upon them. We are in a war
against terrorism are we not? Is this not the
coalition that Bush called the Axis of Evil?

Let me assure you that the Middle East is ringing with
joy and laughter, and shouts of victory for Islam over
the Baker report. This has not appeased them but
inflamed them. It sends the strongest message that
terrorism works. Even if the report is not
implemented, it has empowered the Islamic world to
carry on and intensify their efforts.

So how does Baker plan to engage Iran and Syria?

First by forcing Israel to give up the Golan Heights,
the West Bank, including the dividing of Jerusalem,
and to allow for the 'right of return' of the families
of those displaced in earlier wars. Something the
Palestinians have been demanding since their inception
and to which Israel has refused. This would flood tiny
Israel with millions of Jew hating Arab terrorists.
Bakers answer is to give the Palestinains everything
they want, and to give Israel the shaft.

The Golan Heights is a strategic position that allows
Israel a buffer zone against attack from Syria. I have
spent a lot of time traveling atop the Golan Heights,
and the vantage point for attack over Northern Israel
is unquestionable. That is exactly what Syria did with
it the last time they possessed it illegally. You see,
even if you ignore the Biblical rights of Israel to
the Golan, Baron Von Rothschild legally purchased the
Golan from the Ottoman Empire which was later deeded
to Israel. Israel holds legal deed to the land but
Syria had occupied the land prior to Israel capturing
it in the 67' war, after an unprovoked attack by
Syria.

To top all of this off, President Bush and Tony Blair
went on global TV to reiterate that a Palestinian
state will be established within the present day
borders of Israel.

The "West Bank" was the area occupied by Jordan prior
to the 67' war and encompassed the Mountains of Israel
to which the Lord promised to return His people in so
many prophetic scriptures. If you drive from Jerusalem
to Tel-Aviv on Highway One, everything on the right
side of the highway as you leave Jerusalem is
considered part of the West Bank. It is absolutely
ludicrous to think that this should all be turned over
to Arab control.

Ahmadinejad has already said that when the U.S. pulls
out of Iraq, the insurgent fighters will be sent to
Gaza to join the fight against Israel. Hamas feeling
emboldened has restated that they will never recognize
Israel and will continue to fight for the capture of
Jerusalem.

I cannot help but think again of a prophecy given by a
Tulsa Pastor two years before the Iraq war that the
U.S. would invade Iraq, and while they would appear to
win at first, they would be sent home like a dog with
its tail between its legs.

I am starting to hear the dog whimper.

If Iran is allowed to take over Iraq, something they
wanted to do for decades, they will already have Syria
and Lebanon under their control, and will threaten
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and every other smaller nation
in the region. They could conceivably become a massive
Super State controlling the majority of Oil Wealth and
production in the world. When you consider this
possibility from Ahmadinejad's view of the coming Imam
of Islam, and the oft-stated goal for world domination
and a worldwide Islamic state, you can see why this
report would make the Islamic leadership in Iran feel
Allah has assured their success.

An Iran of this magnitude would easily bring the
western nations to their knees, and it appears that
they may be accomplishing that already.

How can we be inundated for the last three years or
more, hearing about how the world needs to stop Iran
from achieving nuclear capability, and then suddenly
we announce that we are supposed to give them
everything they could possibly have wanted without a
fight?

We must wonder what has transpired behind the scenes.
China was recently found to have been trailing an
American aircraft carrier undetected for three weeks
signifying that the Russian technology that has been
sold to them is being successfully implemented.
Russia, becoming increasingly more dictitorial and
reminiscent of the Soviet Union, has been working with
China, Iran and North Korea, and China has been
working with Iran and North Korea, and Iran and North
Korea have also been cooperating. Could this alliance
have gained the upper hand and be dictating to the
U.S. conditions of surrender?

It is becoming increasingly difficult to tell who, if
any body, is actually in control of the political
mechanizations of the world, other than to say the
devil is in the details. We must also remember that
his is a house divided against itself, and it will
fall.

What I do believe is that Israel is being brought to a
point where they will have no hope other than to as a
nation call out to their God. At some point they must
lose their ability to depend on the U.S. or any other
form of protection, and to fulfill prophecy the U.S.
must become an enemy of the state of Israel as
Zechariah states that all nations of the world will
come against Israel. While that may be held at bay for
a while, the forces that will drive America to this
position are clearly at work in the shadows, and are
trying to bring their evil schemes into the light of
day. It could be as some believe that the U.S. will
not exist as a nation by that time.

Everything happening in the world today is bringing us
closer to the great and awesome 'Day of the Lord'.
That means also that we have entered a time of
suffering that has never been exceeded, nor ever will
be again.

I can't help but look ahead, I always do. It was said
of me recently that I don't live in the same time as
everyone else but rather I live six months in the
future. I suppose that is true. Often it has been
years rather than months.

What I see coming is a time of terrible dread. I'm
sorry, I just do. I know that is not a happy message,
and is not well received. I cannot tell you it will
happen tomorrow, but I can tell you that it could. As
Joel Rosenberg said to me, "God may kick the can down
the road a bit". And well He might.

Jesus said that unless these days were cut short that
no flesh would survive. I believe that is why
everything prophetically seems to be running faster
and faster, each day gaining speed and momentum. All I
can say is the time to surrender your life completely
to the Lord is NOW! Tomorrow could well be too late.

Below I have added most of an article by Aaron Klein
of WND. It shows you the way the Islamic world is
reacting to the James Baker report. I believe that we
should take these proclamations seriously, and that
all American's need to wake up and protest their
government in every conceivable way NOT to accept this
suicidal and devilish proposal. We may not stop the
tide of events, but we must morally oppose it and warn
the public of the danger.

God Bless,

Neil Cooper

"The report proves that this is the era of Islam and
of jihad," said Abu Ayman, a senior leader of Islamic
Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin.
The Islamic Jihad terror group is responsible for
every suicide bombing in Israel during the past two
years.
"[With the Iraq Study Group report], the Americans
came to the conclusion that Islam is the new giant of
the world and it would be clever to reduce hostilities
with this giant. In the Quran the principle of the
rotation is clear and according to this principle the
end of the Americans and of all non-believers is
getting closer," Abu Ayman said.
According to Abu Abdullah, a senior leader of Hamas'
so-called military wing, Baker's report is a victory
for Islam brought about by "Allah and his angels."
"It is not just a simple victory. It is a great one.
The big superpower of the world is defeated by a small
group of mujahedeen (fighters). Did you see the
mujahedeens' clothes and weapons in comparison with
the huge individual military arsenal and supply that
was carrying every American soldier?" exclaimed Abu
Abdullah, who is considered one of the most important
operational members of Hamas' Izzedine al-Qassam
Martyrs Brigades, Hamas' declared "resistance"
department.
"It is no doubt that Allah and his angels were
fighting with them (insurgents) against the Americans.
It is a sign to all those who keep saying that
America, Israel and the West in general cannot be
defeated on the ground so let us negotiate with them,"
Abu Abdullah said.
Abu Abdullah said following a withdrawal from Iraq,
the U.S. will be defeated on its own soil.
"America must understand that with anti-American
governments in Latin America and with Islam growing
and reinforcing, including in the U.S. itself, the
next step would be a total defeat on their (American)
land, not a relative one like they are facing in
Iraq," he said.
Abu Nasser, the second-in-command of the Al Aqsa
Martyrs Brigades terror group in the West Bank, called
the Iraq Study Group report a "great victory" from
which other jihadist organizations can learn.
"The Iraqi victory is a great message and lesson to
the revolutionary and freedom movements in the world.
Just to think that this resistance is led by hundreds
of Sunni fighters who defeated hundreds of thousands
of Americans, British and thousands of soldiers who
belong to the puppet regime in Baghdad. What would be
the situation if the Shiites will decide to join the
resistance?" commented Abu Nasser.
The Al Aqsa leader said his group learned from the
"Iraqi resistance" that jihad will ultimately destroy
Israel.
The Al Aqsa Brigades is the declared "military wing"
of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas'
Fatah party.
"If Israel will not start negotiating its withdrawal
we are ready to launch the new stage of the intifada,"
Abu Nasser said.
Islamic Jihad's Abu Ayman said after the U.S. "defeat"
in Iraq is finalized, insurgents there should move to
the West Bank and Gaza to help destroy Israel.
"We hope that after chasing the occupation from Iraq,
these jihad efforts and experiences will be
transferred to Palestine, and yes, I mean that we
expect these fighters will come to Palestine as part
of a big Islamic army."
The Iraqi Study Group's report called the U.S.
position in Iraq "grave and deteriorating," and
recommended the withdrawal of most combat troops from
Iraq by 2008.
It warned, "The ability of the United States to
influence events within Iraq is diminishing."
The report stated the U.S. should engage Iran, Syria
and insurgent leaders in Iraq, and said Israel should
be pressured into withdrawing from the West Bank and
the Golan Heights.
The West Bank runs alongside Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and
Israel's international airport. The Heights is
strategic mountainous territory that looks down in
Israeli and Syrian population centers.
President Bush received the report at the White House
this morning. Flanked by Baker and other commission
members, Bush pledged to treat each proposal seriously
and act in a "timely fashion."
The White House said Bush will make key decisions
within weeks.
Some terror leaders, though, were unsure whether the
Baker report would actually be implemented. They
claimed Israel controls U.S. foreign policy and would
ultimately block changes in American actions in the
Middle East.
"The problem is that I think the political structure
of the U.S. and the role of the Zionists in the U.S.
turns impossible the possibility that this report
would be implemented," said Abu Ayman.
Still the terror leader said the report shows
insurgent actions are working.
"It is the dawn of the real Islam what we are seeing
now, young people who are leaving everything in their
countries and are coming to fight in Iraq," said Abu
Ayman.
