Kay,
I am attaching an excel spreadsheet where I typed in every word of the book of Revelation, that I use for my own study and reference. So you can save yourself some typing!
With regard to the cross references mixing up references between Christ and the Anti-christ, if they have done that, it is in error. Remember the Word of God is Inspired....I'm not so sure about the cross references. Some of those cross references are old, and may have come from people with questionable understanding of eschatology....therefore, would be in error. For example, if Christ is riding with the four horsemen of Apocalypse, He is in bad company! Christ is not one of the dreaded four horsemen of Apocalypse! The character in Rev. 6:11 is not the same as Christ in Rev. 19:11, even though they are both on horses. Rev. 6:11 is the Anti-Christ conquering the world. Whereas Christ is coming in Rev. 19:11 to restore Peace to the world and to conquer the Anti-christ.
No I don't think your typing out all the cross references along with the Revelation scripture is adding to the book of Revelation, which will result in curses. That warning is for publishers who deliberately change the meaning of the words in the Bible, or worse delete whole passages (like NIV, etc.) I think your analysis of the cross references is what a good Berean would do.....and as such is commendable. Study on! Identify inaccurate cross references. I'm sure God is pleased. And if you are praying while doing all this, the Holy Spirit will guide you to the truth.
Maranatha!
Deborah
