First of all thanks to those who responded concerning Hanukkah and 280 days.
 
I just looked up 2800 days and found that from today December 6, 2006 to August 5, 2014 (9 Av) is this period.
 
Does this mean anything? It just seemed odd to look for it and find the start date on the very day which is 9 days before Hanukkah (Kislev 25).
