Dear Doves,

 

Today at the worksite where we are demolishing the Manhattan Project, there was writing uncovered by workers in the exterior wall from early 1945. It read as follows:

 

"Buy Bonds to Bomb Bums and Bury the Bastards in Berlin."

 

There was also a drawing of a bomb with, "Hitler here we come", on it.

 

I thought it was interesting considering everything happening today and also since it has been covered for over 60 years, taking us back to a different era here in the USA. Maybe this is not politically correct, but it shows a gap from then to now. Now we are faced with a probable checkmate in the Middle East and the Bible would seem to support this fact. 

 

There is something different today and our enemies sense it, especially with the release of the "Iraq Report". Somehow we have been arrogant enough to think it won't happen again because we are smarter, but that arrogance and ignorance will lead to a situation far worse than Hitler and World War II. The cries for peace only lead down one path.
