Marilyn, (and for those interested)
A reader of the fivedoves website sent me a wonderful article which
explains the darkness which occurred on the day of crucifixion, as well as
the Lunar eclipse that occurred the same day. It is a long read, but very
well worth it, for the author has definitely done his homework. He quotes
from the records of noted men of the early church. I strongly recommend that
anyone interested in this remarkable event read the entire article. It not
only solves the problem of the darkness and the moon eclipse, it also solves
the apparent disagreement of John with the other Gospel writers regarding
the time of day in which the events happened.

copy this link and paste it into the address bar. It is worth the trouble
because the article is a very important read.http://www.christianhospitality.org/pages_20items/Ap1.htm
