The general feeling is that some people are discouraged because there
are those who are not interested in hearing about the coming of the
Lord, and all that goes with it.  Perhaps a few facts will encourage
you.

Among the top five questions that people are asking is the question:
"Is there a God?", and that ranks #1 among those ages 35 - 55.  The
question that ranks #2 among those ages 35 - 55, and #5 among those 18 -
34 is:  "Will there be world peace?"

There are some surprising spiritual facts.  Six out of ten people in the
US do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Two thirds of
our country's  population has no idea of  what John 3: 16 refers to.
Less than one third of all adults (31%) know the meaning of the gospel.
Statistically, for every 85 church members American churches reach one
new person for Christ each year.  And the final statistic should really
excite you.  Four out of every ten lost people want to know, "What must
I do to be saved?"

With this information at your grasp, don't be disheartened by those not
interested.  Look for those who are.  There are plenty of them around.
