I was rather surprised to see not only one event, but two celestial events in the sky on Sunday night.
1. A star (or something like a star) began to glow very bright and then dim over the course of approximately four minutes (and no it was not an airplane).
2. A falling star (meteor) that entered the atmosphere. It burned very bright and lasted about 3 or 4 amazing seconds before it almost reached the ground level. There may have been a small, residual meteor left over that collided with the ground.
Amazing stuff!
