"RESPONSE TO KAY"

Kay.

The appearing of Jesus Christ is at the 2nd coming.  The 2nd coming is at or towards the end of the great tribulation.   I want to counter some of youre pretrib verses.  YOURE WRITING IS IN BLUE

In fact every scripture I've found about His "Appearing" is one of joy and reward, the great hope of the Church

2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Galatians 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Hebrews 11:26 (MOSES) esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

Acts 2:31 David was looking into the future and predicting the Messiah's resurrection. He was saying that the Messiah would not be left among the dead and that his body would not rot in the grave.
Hebrews 11:16 , 10 But now they ( Old testament believers) desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. -------------  which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.

Hebrews 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Hebrews 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Old Testament  believer made perfect with the new testament beliver through the promise which is in Christ.

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring WITH him.

I feel there is a difference in the tone of the scriptures between His appearing (as in the clouds where we are gathered together with Him?) and the great and terrible Day of the Lord when He reveals Himself to the world.   No they are the same read Acts 1:9 -11

ACTS 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

ACTS 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

ACTS 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Col 3:4 When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall YE ALSO appear with him in glory.

Kay, Re - Read Col 3:4 this is a much better translation: This is the millenial reign.
Col 3:4   when the Christ -- our life -- may be manifested, then also we with him shall be manifested in glory.
Robert Young Literal Translation 1862, 1887, 1898 Info
Col 3:24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

1 TH 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   2nd Timothy 4:1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at* His appearing and His kingdom:

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

DANIEL 12:13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
