"Stay away from "Lion, witch and wardrobe""

I was wrong to recommend yesterday that you see CS Lewis's "The Lion, the
Witch and the Wardrobe". You see I never read the book but what do expect from
a nice Jewish boy. I have had to rely on the opinion of others to make my
judgment. I should have known better when everyone praised "The Lord of the
Rings" as biblically based and when I saw it I was appalled. Sorry, but it was
new age and occultic. Sue me! I've been here and done that so I know the
demonic when I see it. Tolkien helped Lewis come to the Lord and both were
Professors with a lot of baggage. Also been there. When I just read Bret's
review below, my stomach fell into my throat and I gasped. Forgive me Jesus.
When I clicked on the additional article about Lewis and reincarnation and how
he praised the gnostic, evil Rudolf Steiner, I knew I had to speak. I did my
Masters thesis on Steiner in 1972 entitled "Rudolf Steiner:a Seeker in pursuit
of truth and self knowledge" when I was heavily involved in occult. I loved
his gnosticism and mine as well. I will never go see this movie and hope that
you do not either.

CS Lewis suggests that "Dr. Steiner"* meaning Rudolf Steiner, the founder of
Anthroposophy [and of the occult Waldorf Schools], which Barfield embraced as
a young man * may have found the way to a redeemed scientific method that does
not omit the qualities of the observed object. ... [Notice that this was 16
years after Lewis' supposed  conversion in 1931]
