Merry Christmas everyone:
An update on Kristina until after the holidays.
I just talked with her and learned of some of the procedures she is going through.
She seems to be in fair spirits in spite of being "doped" up.
She had her first blood transfusion last night and experienced trouble breathing so was put on oxygen.
She feels a little stronger from the transfusion but they are continuing to give her radiation every day Monday through Friday for 4 to 6 weeks, which makes her feel tired.
She will be in the hospital for a while she says.
I was able to pray with her which comforts both of us.
A dear friend and her husband went up to see her and was able to give me a report which helped me emotionally.
If you would continue to pray for her healing and that she would be able to tolerate the radiation.   The sores in her mouth are a little better as the Doctors try out different sprays to help the healing.
I am asking the Lord to send Christian nurses to be with her to comfort her and encourage her.
I would also ask your prayers for the family.  that it would bring us together and soften the hearts of those family members that are distant.
Have a blessed Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus.
