The Lord God Almighty is so Awesome a God who cares for litttle things
in our life and who helps us when we call on Him.

Every Quarter at our Navy Base I hold a Quarterly Prayer Service for our
Service Personnel.  This quarter I had scheduled it at 11:00 and had to
reschedule a medical treatment from a previous day for 12:00pm because
there were no other dates available. The base XO had just put on new
rules where the chapel was going to be kept locked and you had to
reserve the chapel, then go out to MWR and pick up a key, then return it
after the event and the policy just when in to effect this week.

I was very concerned about how I was going to be able to get to MWR
(Morale Welfare and Recreation) and back in time to make my medical
treatment.  I expressed my concern about being able to make the timing
to  a coworker and she said, "oh don't worry about it, God will work out
the timing, it's a God thing".   I thought, you know, she is right.  So
I prayed that God would work out the timing so I could make my treatment
- having no idea how He was going to do it, but knowing God can do some
interesting things with time and money.  So I clocked out and headed
over to MWR to pick up the key.  As I passed the Chapel, I noticed some
public works trucks there, so I stopped in.  They had the door unlocked
and said it was okay to go in and not to worry about locking up, because
they were coming back after lunch  to finish working on some building
problems.

We had a great prayer service, God was having us pray strongly for our
military people, and Jesus was lifted up.  I was able to make my medical
treatment very close to on time.

And God was totally able to answer my prayer request.  What a Great and
Awesome God we serve.  Our prayers really matter to Him and they make a
difference in this old World because we serve the God who is there and
cares.

Have a Blessed celebration of the remembrance of the birth of Jesus this
Christmas.  It is right and proper that we celebrate His Birth even if
it might not be on the right day, what is important is that we bring Him
honor and praise in our celebrations.  Because He is the Wonderful
Counsoler, Almighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Light of the
World.  The time is drawing near when the kingdoms of this world have
become the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ and He shall reign
forever and  ever .  Come Quickly Lord Jesus, Amen.
