Good points, Ellen! Also, a couple of points I wish to make here. First of all, Rev. 5:9:And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; This was "sung" in Heaven when no one could be found worthy to open the seals. According to Dictionary.com, "redeemed" means, primarily, "to set free; rescue or ransom". Who did Yeshua ransom by His blood, but the Church? Not angels, because they aren't redeemed. It is us, the Church.Secondly, and I don't know any other way to look at this, we are told that Yeshua is going to come as a "thief in the night", that "no one knows the day or the hour", and that things at His return are going to be "as in the days of Noe and Lot". First of all, throughout Revelation, we are given the EXACT day of Yeshua's return to the earth from the time that certain events happen until the moment of His physical return (time, times, and half a time... 1,260 days... 42 months, etc.). How can this day be both a surprise AND known?Secondly, with most of the people in the world destroyed by the various disasters, as well as most of the earth itself (100 lb. hailstones, asteroids, waters turned to blood, etc.), how is this going to be life going on as usual (marrying and giving in marriage, buying and selling, etc.)???Also, in Revelation 20, the "Bride" (Church) has "made herself ready", right before Yeshua returns to earth with her. Notice, she is IN Heaven, and Yeshua has not returned with her. And Enoch says when Yeshua returns, He is bring with Him tens of thousands of His Saints. Is He going to call them up AS He's returning, plop them quickly on the backs of their horses, not even take the time to greet them, and hurry down to earth?????He also tells us in various places that He is going to save us from the wrath of the Father. Isn't the Tribulation the wrath of the Lord????Be blessed!Peggy
