I heard a very good sermon this morning by our pastor.
He spoke of John the Baptist's ministry in the
wilderness. Surely John made no friends among those
in the hierarchy who were sinning. He never softened
his message and that eventually cost him his life.John also won many souls for God as he was seen as a
prophet who NEVER compromised his convictions....not
even to win friends in high places .... or any other
place for that matter.John preached God's message clearly and he never
mitigated God's words under any circumstances FOR
ANYONE.I believe that brother Jim is in error when he
believes (as TBN does?) that Hal Lindsey must "soften"
his message to reach those in Islam.Think on this for a moment. Islam regards any
"softening" as victory for them. Also think of the
souls that will be lost elsewhere because of this
perceived "compromise" or appeasement of CAIR.No, this is wrong. Surely there are enough programs
on TBN to preach without confrontation to allow Mr.
Lindsey his "one lone voice of one crying in the
wilderness" of ignorance that is Islam. In Christ,
