Now that Chronicles of Narnia is playing in the movie theaters, a lot of attention is being paid to the beliefs of C.S. Lewis. He was very popular, but some who have studied his writings notice subtle departures from  fundamental Christianity (like acceptance of 'theistic evolution' and other compromises).
