Caps has got us all thinking!

 

While the faithful of Israel long for and await the rebuilding of the Temple, and men search for the Ark of the Covenant, we already have both!  We (The Church) ARE the Temple Jesus has raised up, and in the heart of this Temple resides the Ark of the New Covenant, (the Word).

 

  Hbr 8:13 In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away.

 

  Hbr 9:16 For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

 

  Hbr 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

 

 Psa 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

 

  Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:   Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.

 

  Jhn 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

 

  Jhn 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

 

  Jhn 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

 

  Jhn 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
