Hello John Clark:I'm in total agreement with you. I also believe the Book of Daniel and Revelation is flooded with scripture pertaining to George W. Bush and America. And yes, the odds are astronomical that Bush read a story about a "goat" while simultaneously being attacked by Islam (Ram) on 9-11. I truely am amazed most prophecy teachers /students seemed to overlook that obvious sign. But then again it's no surprise; partisan politics has blinded the minds of many.
What's your take on Iraqis being forced to mark themselves with blue ink in order to take part in the "democratic process"..aka voting/western style "image"? Daniel did warn us that "he" will change(Islam?) the laws and times. I'm now wondering if Daniel was exclusively referring to his land of captivity.....Babylon(Iraq) . Infact, it's mind boggling to think that most prophe! cy teachers/students (well, at least americans anyways) believe that America is nowhere to be found in the prophetic end time scenario. If God revealed to Daniel(and he most definitely did) every WORLD empire that would rule/conquer Babylon, which also had a profound/devastating effect on Israel, why would he(God) leave out the most powerful/influential/richest of them all....U.S.A? The fact is, God did not forget about America, she's right there in the book of Daniel, ruling the land of Babylon(and the world for that matter) just like her predecessors...Nebuchadnezzar, Medes and Persians, Greece and Rome..etc etc. Infact, John, further corroborates my suspicions, for Rev 9:14-15 states: Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year,(there goes that 1111 again...hmmm) for to slay a third part of men.
It's amazing that John, just like Daniel also seems to focus on the ancient land of Babylon..Euphrates river..etc etc.
Guess which nation presently has 150,000 troops up and down the Euphrates river? Guess which nation is presently building 14 PERMANENT military bases in the land of Babylon? Guess which leader emphatically states: "We will leave(Iraq) when victory is achieved". Now in simple english: "We will leave Iraq when I get good and ready to, and there aint a thing nobody can do about it".The aformentioned speaks volumes about the ruling power America has in Babylon. There isn't a power on earth that has the ability to remove America from Babylon. Well, maybe one ;)
It's so obvious that America is indeed the major player/catalyst during the endtime scenario. I wonder why evangelicals skim over this obvious fact of scripture? Never mind, I wont answer that ;)
I wonder what's so important about the land of Babylon anyways, especially during the endtimes? Answer:
Rev 6:6 See thou hurt not the OIL and the wine.
That's right folks, it's right there in black and white!! OIL!!! Revelation tells us during the endtimes, oil will be hoarded by the kings of the world, which will be one of the primary causes of world wide wars; and will infact significantly increase in value during the latter times...hence.. "hurt not the oil." Infact, before the Iraqi invasion, George W. Bush emphatically told Sadaam Hussein "NOT TO DAMAGE THE OIL FIELDS" like he did during the first gulf war. That is truely amazing that Bush virtually echoed Rev 6:6 (that number 6 again..hmmm) to Sadaam before the invasion..WOW!!!
It's all about oil folks..scripture clearly teaches this.! Of course partisan politics will have you believe otherwise. Time is up people, you better decide who you will serve, political leaders, or the true leader, Jesus the Lord of all.
John
