"RE: Friedrich Wenz (Persia... Daniel 8) "and the higher came up last""

Bless you Friedrich!

I opened your post today and noticed the article on the Iranian president launching another verbal attack on Israel. I had already read this article elsewhere, so I scrolled down to the bottom to see if anything was added. You had added Daniel 8:3 - 4, and highlighted in yellow, "and the higher came up last." I was immediately given the revelation that today (December 15, 2005) a portion of Daniel chapter 8 was fulfilled.

Let's review a few facts about Dan! iel chapter 8. It takes place in Babylon, the area now covered by modern Iraq. The fulfillment of this vision/prophecies occurs in the " end times." This is not my personal interpretation, it is Gabriel's.

Dan 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this [man] to understand the vision.

Dan 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.

Dan 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be].

Most people have falsely thought that Alexander the Great fulfilled this prophecy. Alexander was simply a "Type" or "Pattern" of the fulfillment of this prophecy, just like portions of the life of Isaac or Joseph were a "Type" of prophecy fulfillment about Yeshua/Jesus. These prophecies could only be fulfilled after The Resurrection to be part of the "time of the end." Also, Alexander came entirely by land, but President Bush came from half way around the world by air and sea.

Dan 8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.

Gabriel tells us! that horns are kings, or rulers.

Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the kings of Media and Persia.

Dan 8:21 And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia: and the great horn that [is] between his eyes [is] the first king

I have read that the descendants of Media are the Kurds, which now live in northern Iraq and parts of Turkey and Iran. . The descendants of Persia would be Iran, and you would assume that the descendants of Grecia would be from Greece. But let's look at this from Gabriel's perspective.

Dan 10:13 But the prince! of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Dan 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

Gabriel is speaking about spiritual rulers here. He is battling "principalities and powers in high places." These spiritual rulers are the forces that are behind the earthly kings. These spiritual rulers continue throughout the generations while the specific kings and geographical areas are constantly changing. Gabriel is telling Daniel in chapter 10 that the spiritual power known as "Persia" will rule over Babylon followed by the spiritual power known as "Grecia." And this actually has occurred more than once.

Daniel chapter 8 is being fulfilled before our very eyes today. Geographically it is occurring in the land of Babylon/Iraq.

Dan 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high; but one [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the kings of Media and Persia.

The ram represents the spirit of Islam. The spirit powers, "Media and Persia" are controlling that ram today in the land of Iraq. The "Persia" spirit is greater/higher than "Media" in that area of ancient Babylon. The spirit of "Persia" also controls Iran (Sunni). The spirit of "Grecia" has conquered and her king (George W. Bush) now rules the land of Iraq.

Dan 8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.

Dan 8:6 And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

Dan 8:7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

The spirit of " Grecia" is the "spirit of democracy." Greece was the birthplace of democracy and president Bush ! conquered Iraq in the name and spirit of democracy. He traveled across the face of the whole earth without touching the ground. He is determined and set in his ways, just like a goat. It is amazing that he was reading about goat's during the 911 episode. He definitely is "notable" and came against Iraq in fury and power. He moved with choler and stamped the ram to the ground, possibly to bring revenge for his father.

Now the major physical battle between the ram and goat has been finished for some time, all but the "mopping up." But today we saw the completion of the spiritual battle. Today Persia submitted to the spirit named Democracy. Democracy now rules and dominates the spirit of Media and Persia in Iraq. And that is the revelation I saw today, Dec. 15th, 2005. (Do not be deceived, the spirit of democracy is not a righteous spirit. Democracy is the same spirit that also rules mobs.). But the eighth chapter of Daniel is far from complete.

Dan 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

Dan 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant [land].

Dan 8:10 And it waxed great, [even] to the host of heaven; and it cast down [some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

Dan 8:11 Yea, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily [sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

Dan 8:! 12 And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

Dan 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

But where does Iran come in? Would you believe possibly Daniel chapter 11?

Dan 11:2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than [they] all: an! d by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

Dan 11:3 And a mighty king (George Bush) shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his (George Bush's) will.

Dan 11:4 And when he (George Bush) shall stand up, his (Bush) kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity (Jenna, Barbra, Jeb, etc.), nor according to his dominion (constitutional USA) which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

We need to continue to watch to understand, and be able to interpret all of the "pronouns" found within the remainder of Daniel.

Shalom, John
