"Re: Jim Bramlett's take on TBN"

Dear Jim,

I want you to know that I almost always enjoy what you write, but I have to take exception to your defense of TBN.
According to your way of thinking, maybe Jesus shouldn't have overturned the moneychangers tables in the temple or called the religious leaders of the day a "brood of vipers".
I have seen interviews done with Paul and Jan Crouch, and they remind of Jim and Tammy Fay Baker. I think too often in the American religious establishment our so-called leaders become elitist and they turn their energies toward maintaining the staus quo, i.e. not offending potential profits. Just for the record, anyone that doesn't believe TBN is a profit-oriented entity hasn't really been paying attention.
I, for one, stand firmly with Hal Lindsey, in that, Islam is a threat to God-fearing and God-loving people the world over. Furthermore, muslims that agree with the terrorist tactics, are aiding and abetting murderous thugs.
Yes, I do want muslims to come to Christ, as I do all people, but not at the expense of the truth. NO COMPRIMISE!!!

Sincerely,  Gary
