"Answer to protecting thought life, mp3 sermons"

I am a regular reader of 5 doves website. My name is Jimmy Fu and I am from
Singapore. After reading your post, I wish to share my personal experience
about how NOT to let my thought life be negatively affected by the things in
the world.

Thank God for the invention of MP3 player.

Beside the morning devotion, I grab every opportunity to listen to good
preaching on my Creative MP3 player. I take the train to work, which lasts
about 35 minutes.

When I reach my office, I am ready to face the day after about 45 mins of
listening to God's word. After work, on my way to the train station, I take
out my MP3 player again and have another good dose of Christ-exalting,
grace-based and Holy Spriit's anointed sermons. I just refuse to let my mind
be idle...

Having done the above for almost two years and before I know it, the voices
from the world has been drowned by the living word of God.  Just one feeding
on a Sunday morning is not enough. I have Christian friends who drive and
everytime they get into their cars, they will play a good CD and they also
testify to the importance of "bombarding" our inner-man with God's word.

Because we have been drinking from the rivers of life (JESUS is the source),
when moments of trail or temptation present itself, a verse from the sermons
we hear (sometimes the same sermon can speak to me differently from the last
time I heard it) will rise up within me to strengthen me or remind of my
position in Chirst.

Good preaching? Where to find it? Try this

Thank you for reading this email. Let me know your thoughts on this.
