Doves, I know many parts of the U.S. are flooding right now, but here in the heartland, ~ Texas and Oklahoma, we are DESPERATE for rain!!!   Please pray.
 
My SIL's house almost got struck by fire yesterday & in fact, they were told to evacuate as the fires came to the very next street over.   They nearly choked on the thick, black smoke that hung in the air as they hosed down their lawns & property & prepared to leave when the firemen came back to tell them.   Fires are popping up statewide -- we are in an extreme fire danger alert for the next several days.  It is dry, dry, dry.  Perhaps a preview of the coming trib ~ but in the mean time, we NEED rain DESPERATELY!!
