Someone made this statement on another board and it
prompted me to look up the Book of Joel (here is their
quote):

" . . .in the Book of Joel, it talks about a plague of
Locusts that will cover the Middle East right before
the Tribulation begins - just weeks ago millions of
locusts swarmed over Egypt and Israel"
 

Joel, Chapter 1:

3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children
tell their children, and their children, another
generation.
4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust
eaten: and that which the locust hath left hath the
cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath
left hath the caterpillar eaten.
5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye
drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is
cut off from your mouth.

Then Verse 15 . . .

15 Alas, for the day! for the day of the Lord is at
hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it
come.
 

(This could be "reaching" but perhaps the new wine
that is cut off is referring to the Holy Spirit taken
back after the rapture of the Church has taken place.)
