Donna's post about the mom who severed her baby's arms killing her baby is just typical of how the world tries to TWIST scriptures to their own destruction.
 
  Remember, when the Israelites were in the promised land - ?  Instead of following God and worshipping Him, what did they do?  They started worshipping the idols of the heathen and incorporating THEIR rituals into their lives.  God told them that they were to set apart their firstborn as Holy unto Him, so what did they do with THAT rule?  They went to the god "Molech," and sacrificed their firstborn by burning them to death!  God was so appalled at this, He said that not only did He NOT ask them to do such a thing, the thought never even entered into His Mind for them to do such a thing!  He wanted them to raise their children in the admonition and nuture of the Lord, not kill them!  So - He sent terrible punishments to them for this and other sins.  How much better(?) are we in the U.S when we are sacrificing our babies (many of them "firstborn") to the slaughter of ABORTION on altars of materialism and convenience!?    We are even so much worse, because we have slain MILLIONS in this manner!  God help us!  We can KNOW that the rapture is near, because God will not long hold off his judgments against all the nations that have forgotten Him!
