There already is a day  for the athiest - April first.
 
  Here in the U.S, it is widely observed and  we call it" All Fools Day".  A day when  tall tales are told with a straight face, seeking a believer in the lying story.  If one is caught believing the story, he gets "April Fool!" yelled to him.
