The Sanhedrin

Dear friends:

There is a story with great historical and prophetic significance that is getting almost no play in the news media, which is still obsessed with the Scott Peterson trial and other trivia.  The shallowness and increasing irrelevance of the news media are beyond description.  But it is no surprise that watershed prophetic events are virtually overlooked by the world, which lies in deception.  "As in the days of Noah" they will be caught by total surprise and overtaken by events.

The story is this: On October 14, 2004, a group of 71 Rabbis from across Israel convened in Tiberias. This was the first meeting of the Sanhedrin in 1600 years!

Israel National News reports: "In a dramatic but unpublicized move Monday (December 6), members of the newly established Sanhedrin ascended the Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site.  Close to fifty recently ordained 'samuchim,' members of the Sanhedrin, lined up at the foot of the Temple Mount Monday morning. The men, many ascending the Temple Mount for the first time, had immersed in mikvaot (ritual baths) that morning and planned to ascend as a group."

Fellow "watchperson" Sherry Vance makes this interesting commentary: "The re-institution of the Sanhedrin is just as prophetic and important a sign of the Second Coming as were the signs of the birth of Israel in 1948 and the reclaiming of Jerusalem in 1967! Just as the nation of Israel had to be back in the land, and just as Jerusalem had to  be reclaimed before the last days began to be fulfilled, THE SANHEDRIN MUST BE IN PLACE IN ORDER TO FULFILL THE PROPHECY THAT THE SANHEDRIN WILL DECLARE, AT HIS SECOND COMING, THAT JESUS IS LORD AND KING AND BLESSED IS HE!   Yes, of course, the Remnant of Israel will also declare it at His coming, BUT - at His first coming it was the Sanhedrin that rejected Him and so Jesus stated they will  acknowledge Him when He comes the second time.  They will be there at His CORONATION to officially declare Him Lord of Lords and King of Kings, to which purpose He is coming to the WORLD.  But the purpose of the Sanhedrin will be to anoint Him KING of the NATION of ISRAEL! If the Sanhedrin is about to be reconvened, how close do you think we ARE to the Second Coming?"

But before the new Sanhedrin declares that Jesus is King, some bad stuff will have to happen.
Another fellow watchperson, Miriam Howard, comments: "I believe the ONLY reason for this 'unbelieving' Sanhedrin to be re-established NOW is to get the nation ready to RATIFY the covenant with Sheol and Death along with the Antichrist!!!!  I personally believe the False Prophet is among this group of rabbis!"

Fellow watchman Alan Tombetta remarks on the above: "If you are correct, that one of those Rabbis may be the False Prophet, then (Messianic Jew) Greg Killian's interpretation of Daniel's words..... "And he shall make a covenant with many" ..... is correct.  He says that 'the MANY is the Hebrew word... 'Rabim' L'rabbim... the many Rabbis.'  Killian maintains the false covenant of peace can only be made with the permission of the Rabbis!"

Who will bring the false covenant to Israel to obtain agreement "with many"?

Will it be the behind-the-scenes master deal-maker and magical world arbiter, EU's Javier Solana?

Will the covenant be connected with Solana's European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), which has a seven-year element?  In itself, in addition to the 71 rabbis, the ENP is quite literally a covenant with many. It is an agreement between 25 European Union member states and 17 non-member states. In other words, it's a seven-year agreement involving 42 nations.

After sending my message the other day about Solana, I learned that the name Javier means light, or enlightened, and Solana means sun, or sunshine.  Whether or not he is the antichrist, could he be the special end-time emissary of Lucifer, which means "light-bearer"?

Keep watching...

Jim
