The Arabs will never allow this to happen as things stand now.  And since the EU is beholden to them for oil and already conducting foreign policy accordingly, it would be a trifling matter for the Arabs to threaten or actually ut off oil to the EU, they'll dance to their tune (again).
 
The Moslems will eventually hold the entire world hostage for oil and ultimately impose Sharia Law.  In the midst of all this, the Pope (Antichrist), along with the Beast and False Prophet will go forth, deceiving the whole world.  One way for that to happen is the position of the Pope in the minds of many non-Catholic Christian denominations.  Another way is that the morality provisions of Sharia Law are similar enough to the Ten Commandments that Christians and Jews who are sick of all the immorality may actually embrace it in relief.  Unfortunately, although Christians and Jews are "children of the book" and are thus to be protected (Koran, but I don't remember where), the reality is that Christians and Jews are lumped in with other "infidels" and are thus subject to the command to kill all infidels (again, I don't remember where in the Koran).  Sharia Law, as practiced in most Islamic countries is harsh, unforgiving, and does not m! ake the distinction between "children of the book" and "infidels."  In short, it is a nightmare, especially for women and girls.
