I have no idea of the quality of movies that result from this service.
 
I have never used them, so I do not know if they are on the up-and-up.  The freebie is a trial membership and you have to provide a cc#.  No VHS-- only DVDs.
 
But.... it is a possible alternative that might fit some people's needs and wants.
