"US Taxpayers fund ACLU"
Roger Hitchcock reported today (December 3) on
the Rush Limbaugh Show that most of the cases that the ACLU brings to attack
Boy Scouts, remove Ten Commandments, remove the tiny cross from the LA
County Official Seal, etc. are actually funded by US taxpayers under
US Federal Statute 42US 1988. This is an anti-discrimination law
which is used routinely by the ACLU to pay for the court costs of their
lawsuits and their attorney fees. For example, the removal of the
Ten Commandments from the courthouse in Alabama cost Alabama taxpayers
some half million dollars. The lawsuit cost against the County of
Los Angeles over their Seal cost Los Angeles taxpayers nearly 1 million
dollars.
