What is the great deception of the end times that God warned us about and who propagates this great deception upon the world?

God said in Mark 13:22 that……..if it were possible even the elect would be deceived……..deceived about what and by whom?

Let me first say that it is not possible that the elect be deceived because the bible says directly and indirectly that this great deception takes place after the rapture of the church. Otherwise this deception would have been so convincing that even many whose names are written in the Book of Life would also have been taken in and deceived.

OK then, who was God talking about in Mark 13 that will so completely bamboozle and deceive the world? In Mark 13 we see that God was referring to false prophets and especially false Christs.

Who are and have been the leading false Christs on the planet? The popes of Rome. Their title of…..The Vicar of Christ on earth has totally usurped God’s own title and authority for many centuries……even to the point of declaring these popes to be infallible……unable to make a mistake…..Godlike.

Does the bible say then that we should be looking for one of these popes, these false Christs to step forward on the world stage in the end times and in some way deceive the world in amazing ways? Yes, definitely so

We learn in Revelation 13 that a beast will arise from the sea (see), a beast that figuratively has seven heads and ten horns. This beast will be referred to by writers like me as the antichrist and will go on to amaze, deceive, control, and terrorize the world during the seven year period known as Jacob’s trouble ie. the 7 year tribulation period.

Who is this beast that will go on to do all these things and where does he come from?

The answers to these questions are found in Revelation 17. They are bizarre but accurate and there are many more answers also to be found there.

There in Rev.17 we find that the seven heads of this beast from Rev.13 represent 7 kings of a world wide organization. The extensive description of this organization given in Revelation 17 and 18 can be none other than the Roman Catholic Church.

In Rev.17 we see that this beast, this false Christ, this antichrist, will not be a man who is walking around on planet earth (like Obama) but an entity that arises from the bottomless pit. This person / entity will be a figure that the whole world recognizes because verse 8 states that the whole world will marvel when they see this person who was, and is not, and yet is……..meaning that this person / entity / figure was a well known person who was famous when he lived, then he died, but yet here he is again or a likeness of him back on the world stage.

When you work through the puzzle God gives us in Rev.17: 9-11 it is ascertained that the “king” of the Catholic Church God is referring to that will become the beast or the antichrist is the beloved / famous dead pope…. John Paul II.

When the world populous marvels and see’s his representation re-step back onto the world stage I would say that that qualifies as part of a “great deception“.

Not sure if all you Doves realize that the body of John Paul II has been and still is been kept intact in a cryogenic chamber in the bowels of the Vatican City State. No doubt to be used for deceptive purposes at a latter time.

So, scripture has told us who this beast will be …..a representation of a recently dead pope who may have taken on the spirit of the king of the bottomless pit who is called Abaddon or Apollyon and who also appears to be indwelled by Satan himself……..as is written in Rev.13:4 that ….the dragon (Satan) gave authority to the beast. Indwelled with multiple evil spirits.

Now that we know who the head deceiver is and what world wide organization is involved…….. can we put this into a context with other known pieces of scripture to format / draw a picture of what I believe will become the great deception? Let’s try using scripture as our guide.

Here’s the possible scenario of the great end times deception…..Let’s set the stage…..First the time frame

The great happenings of the sixth seal have just occurred leaving the planet shocked. Chaos and anarchy prevail due to these events that have just happened….. These events

The intervention of God the Father for Israel spoken of in Ezekiel 38 and 39 where the whole world witnesses His power and might on Israel’ behalf

The great resurrection of the dead in Christ and the resurrection of the whole house of Jacob / Israel. Many of our dead loved ones wandering the earth ministering the gospel for maybe 40 days

The first fruits chosen, the 144,000 descendants of Jacob. Chosen and then arrive in heaven

The combined rapture of the dead and alive in Christ meeting with Him in the clouds and taken to heaven

A great worldwide earthquake

Extreme signs in the heavens / sky

Satan and his angelic followers being cast to earth

The wrath of The Father and Jesus the Lamb begins

The arrival of the two end time witnesses

The great deception described

　

After these sixth seal events subside people from around the world are crawling out of their hiding places, millions of people are missing and the remainder of the populous wants answers. And who better to provide the answers than the Roman Catholic Church….. after all, millions of Christians are missing and who better than the “self proclaimed” leader of these Christians would there be to provide answers.

Pope Francis steps forward and addresses the world with an explanation from Vatican City with the entire media services of the planet hanging on his every word. As he does with the whole world watching an angel of light descends on him and he is morphed into John Paul II. A camera crew pans to the cryogenic chamber where John Paul II had been housed…….sure enough, he’s gone. Not only that, so is the prior, still alive, Pope Benedict.

Remember what is said in Daniel 7:24.… that the one that would come, the final antichrist / beast would be different from the rest and that he would “subdue three kings”. He just did (in this scenario)….he subdued (brought into subjection, control, substitution) three kings, three popes. Francis is gone, Benedict is gone, and John Paul is gone and missing from his chamber. Three kings subdued or brought into subjection.

A new entity (different) is now addressing the world. One that is not a man has the likeness of John Paul II but is indwelled with spirits from the bottomless pit and Satan.

This also fulfills what Rev. 17:10-11 prophesizes …..that this beast will somehow be not only the sixth king of this world wide organization (the RCC) which John Paul II was……. but he will also be the eighth……(morphed into the eighth.) And that he was, and is not, and yet is.

We know from scripture that all who witnessed this event or an event like it marveled and then worshiped this substitute, this entity, this beast. That this beast would then be bestowed with extraordinary oratory skills speaking great things and blasphemies. That he would be able to rain lightning from the sky at his command and have unbelievable powers. And he would use these powers to deceive, suck in, and befriend the planet for 42 months, which is half way through the 7 year tribulation period.

Then….the bible says that at this 42 month mark that he would change from Mr. Nice Guy to a wicked monster. At this 42 month mark he declares to the world that he is the true God of the universe. This is / will be blasphemy against our true God, God’s Holy name, God’s tabernacle. He also blasphemes those who dwell in heaven.

Then to prove to the world that his assertion is accurate and correct he kills the two end time witnesses that to this point no one could harm…… ..seemingly proving to the world that he is who he says he is.

At this point “in the middle of the week” (or middle of the 7 years or at the 42 month mark) as per Daniel 9:27.…he cancels (brings an end to) all sacrifices and offerings that are being offered up from all religions to all gods. All this worship is now to be directed to him alone under the penalty of death. He also erects a talking statue of himself (abomination of desolation) in the newly erected Jewish temple in Jerusalem that is also to be worshipped under the penalty of death. And a mark on the hand or forehead will be mandatory showing your allegiance to the beast. Nothing will be able to be bought or sold without this mark.

This kicks off the last 42 months of the 7 year period. This last 42 months being referred to as the great tribulation.

I believe that you can see from this scenario based on what scripture has to say about it that this will be an amazing deception that even David Copperfield couldn’t pull off……but Satan, the master of lies, the angel of light will. And as the bible says if the elect (those whose names appear in The Book of Life) would have still been on earth, even they may have been deceived.

Keep in mind that at this 42 month mark of the 7 years the two witnesses have been preaching the gospel night and day throughout the planet since the great resurrection and rapture event happened. They have been speaking the truth to the “left behind” world for 42 months so one can’t feel too sorry for anyone who has been sucked in by all the beast’s lies and deception during this period. The bible says in Rev.9 concerning this period that they would not repent. Sad, very sad

I didn’t even go into the Demonic UFO’s (Satan’s fallen angels) and the false Catholic Mary that will undoubtedly arrive on the world stage when this beast, antichrist, multiple spirited entity is trying to explain to the world why millions of people have just disappeared. They will be the balloons and confetti that will seal the deal for……The Great Deception
