"Doctrine of Imminence and Daniel 9:25"

Having been a longtime watcher for the rapture (since 1988) I have all this time taken for granted the Doctrine of Imminence to be true, that Jesus could come at any moment.  There didn't really seem to be anything that had to happen first, especially during my lifetime as Israel has been a nation since 1948, and is a major player during the Tribulation.  However, this year, there has been one thing that has made me backpedal on "imminence" and it has to be the fact that there are exactly 49 prophetic years between the retaking of Jerusalem in 1967 and this Yom Kippur 2015 which is also refered to seven weeks (of years) in Daniel's prophecy.  There is a prophecy by an angel that must be fulfilled regarding the Messiah's return in Daniel 25:

Daniel 9:24-25 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 “Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

25 “Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

Consequently, it seems that all this time since the Six Day War in 1967 to this September 2015 we have been on a 17,640 day countdown for the Messiah to come.  All our speculating in past years was not all for naught; we have been warning others for years.  If the rapture and ensuing Apocalypse does come in September with the end of the 49 prophetic year countdown, everyone has been warned in advance.  Following is an article about how the Doctrine of Emminence is not really scriptural.  But Christians take heart; we are now on red alert, starting with the Jewish holidays this September, the rapture now becomes emminent.

"IS THE DOCTRINE OF  IMMINENCE  TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE?"

>From timeanddate.com

>From and including: Wednesday, June 7, 1967
To, but not including Wednesday, September 23, 2015

Result: 17,640 days

It is 17,640 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

49 prophetic years X 360 = 17,640

_____

Well, since I misspelled Imminence (Emminence is not a word) towards the end of my last article I decided to look up imminent. When I looked it up I decided it needed to be shared regarding the rapture being imminent now with the upcoming Jewish holidays in September:

imminent

 adjective im·mi·nent \ˈi-mə-nənt\

: happening very soon

Full Definition of IMMINENT

: ready to take place; especially: hanging threateningly over one's head <was in imminent danger of being run over>
