AMERICA, AMERICA, WHERE ART THOU?

                What  Has  Become of the America  We  Once  Knew ?

When I was a kid in the Fifties, life was wonderful.  Every Mom was home
at lunchtime and we would often eat at a friend's house at noon and WALK
back to School for the afternoon session.  There was only One kid in my
circle of friends who's Mom was divorced and even at 8yrs. old we knew
that to be "weird".  Every Dad had a job and whatever the job was, it was
enough to live on.  Moms were at Home where they belonged,  always there
as the "go to" parent when parental intervention was needed and ALL
Moms were respected.  They were the ultimate authority present in the
absence of the Working Dads.  You never even dreamed of "sassing"
someone's Mom no matter the circumstances.  Moms were the "Boss" of
kidom in those days.  So what happened?  Was there a pivotal moment
when things changed?  And what was the thing that caused this moment to
occur? Yes and it was the PILL !   That's the first time in Man's History that we
began to interfere with, and change the DIVINE WORKS of GOD as a nation. Of
course there are many other factors that contributed to our "Decent"as a
"Christian"Nation, but the Single Most Pivotal incident was the creation
of, and the acceptance of the PILL. Yep, it was all downhill from there. The
Catholic Church, to their credit, didn't sanction it and there might've been a few
other religious doctrines that didn't condone it either but I'm not aware of them.
The Catholic Church was, by far, the most outspoken opponent of the PILL
or any other form of birth control. (I guess they did support the "rhythm-
method",  but we all know how well that works.)  Heh! Heh!
       It was my Dad who held this opinion, having been a member of the "Great
Generation" and gave that as an answer when I put the question to him as
to where our moral decline, as a Nation,  sort of officially began. I didn't
realize it at the time however, but looking back some sixty odd years now, I
see how right he was.  The PILL !  Who'd of thunk it? Soooo!  What would be
the second pivotal moment? ....   It was when the Gov. took us off the Silver
Backed dollar and introduced the Federal Reserve Note !  This enabled an
era of unprecedented Gov. greed to start and it continues to the present day.
It was an"enslaving" maneuver by the bankers and Gov. that robbed the
people of purchasing power by means of inflation that is controlled by those
who implemented the "un-backed " dollar and put the Moms to work.  Sad !
All one has to do to prove this, is to look at the divorce statistics after these
two events and see the correlation. It's amazing ! And again, Sad!  I feel remorse
for the younger folks who missed out on that time in America. That America was
worth fighting for, even if some of the conflicts were un-just, people didn't realize
it ( not until Viet Nam, which was about oil) and they willingly answered their country's
call.  Blissful ignorance? Yes, but it's the "blissful" part that I miss the most. And
everybody went to Church on Sunday and everybody  prayed in school.......Now
look at us !  Unbelievable !  So what do we do now?  Ok,  two things !  Never, never,
never, STOP PRAYING !  and  NEVER,  EVER, GIVE UP YOUR GUNS ! !
